Privacy Policy — Tokyo Barber Shop

Tokyo Barber Shop runs the booking website at tokyobarbershop.com, the account area behind it, and the shop at No. 22A Street 278, BKK1, Phnom Penh. This page explains what we do with your information. It also applies to any Tokyo Barber Shop mobile app you use to book with us.

What we collect

Your name, email address and phone number.
Your booking history — which services you had, with which barber, and when.
Anything you or our staff add to your customer record: notes about your visits, a date of birth if you give one, and preferences such as a preferred barber or an allergy we should know about.
If you log in, a session cookie that keeps you signed in. It holds no password — only which account is signed in.
If you use our mobile app, a push notification token for your device, so we can send you booking updates and reminders. We keep it only while you are signed in: it is deleted when you log out of the app, when you log out everywhere, or when you delete your account.
If you sign in with Google, the name and email address on that Google account, and Google’s account number for this app — see Signing in with Google below.

Signing in with Google

You can book and log in without a password by choosing Continue with Google. When you do:

Google tells us only your name, your email address, and a stable account number that Google uses for this app. That is all we receive; we ask for no other permissions.
We use the email address to find your existing record with us, so your past visits stay in one place. We do not create a second record for the same address.
We never see or store your Google password, and we do not read your Gmail, contacts, calendar, photos or files.
We keep the link between your Google account and your customer record until you delete your account. If you delete your account with us, that link is deleted too. Your Google account itself is not affected.

If you choose Sign in with Apple, Apple shares your email address with us, or a private Apple address that forwards to you, and your name on your first sign-in only. We use these to create your account and show your name on your bookings. We never see your Apple password, and your phone number is not part of this sign-in. We keep a token from Apple only so we can disconnect your Apple sign-in if you delete your account. You can delete your account in the app at any time.

Why we use it

To take and manage your bookings.
To send you booking confirmations, reminders and updates.
To apply any discount we have given you.
To keep our business records accurate.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell your information.
We don’t share it for advertising.
We don’t take payments online. You pay in the shop.

Who else handles it

Brevo — our email delivery service, used only to send our emails to you.
Telegram — our staff notification app. Booking alerts sent to the shop’s own staff group include the customer name and phone number, so the team knows who is coming.
Google — only if you choose Continue with Google, to confirm who you are (see above).
Google Maps (the map embedded on our contact page) and jsDelivr (used to load the phone-number field on the booking form). These are loaded by your own browser when you use those pages.
Apple (and Google on Android) — only to deliver push notifications to your device.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and booking history while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal details — name, email address and phone number — and any appointments you still had coming are cancelled. Your past visits stay in our business records without your name or contact details. Your email address becomes free to use again, so you can start fresh at any time.

Your choices

Delete your account yourself at any time: log in, open Profile & data at the bottom of your account page, and choose Delete my account. It takes effect immediately.
Ask us to correct anything that is wrong, or to delete information, by calling the shop.
